How Borboleta and Fofito baby shoes are made

Here at Babyshoes, we pride ourselves on the quality of our handmade shoes. The Borboleta and Fofito collections are manufactured in Portugal. The level of detail that goes into producing each and every pair is quite incredible.

The process begins by cutting and rolling the leather, preparing it for any detail to be added.

All the components of the shoe are then stitched together before it is put onto a last to help form the shape of the shoe.

Glue is then added to the shoe guard before the sole is attached.

The last is then removed before the shoes are inspected.

The shoes are then cleaned, packaged and ready for shipping!
