The Royal Look – Prince George, the young style icon…

All the focus seems to have been on Princess Charlotte over the past few months, with the recent celebration of her 1st birthday.  Poor George is probably wondering who this young lady is stealing all the limelight!

Well, the limelight is well and truly on the young Prince in this months blog, as we look at the increasingly popular baby boy’s clothing items worn by George and where you can get hold of them:

Outfit #1

Everyone’s favourite little soldier donning the London Guards Tank Top from the popular retailers Cath Kidston. Unsurprisingly, as soon as the picture was released of George in the top, orders went through the roof. Following a recent check on the Cathy Kidston website the navy top is no longer available to purchase. However, they do have a similar tank top in grey (check out the link below).

Retailer: Cath Kidston
Price: £26.00 (for the grey tank top)

Matching beautifully with his patriotic tank top, George is sporting a pair of ‘Griotte’ bloomer summer navy shorts from Amaia. For a cheaper alternative to the Amaia shorts, why not try the navy chino shorts from Swedish firm Polarn O. Pyret.

Retailers: Amaia / Polarn O. Pyret
Price: Amaia – £38.00 / Polarn O. Pyret – £20.00

Let’s not forget for those breezier days to add a layer underneath. Check out the polo bodysuit George is wearing, also from Polarn O. Pyret.

Retailer: Polarn O. Pyret
Price: £14.00

Outfit #2

You may recall these adorable snaps of Prince George last year wearing a strikingly similar outfit to that of a young Prince William, visiting baby Harry at the hospital (over 30 years ago!). The British luxury brand, Rachel Riley provided the outfit for the young prince but of course, like all items worn by George, stock sold out.

Don’t panic though, we have scoured the market to find items of clothing that will help replicate this traditional look.

As an alternative of George’s smart blouse, Amaia sells this unique ‘Sincere’ shirt with the same classic baby round collar for £36.

The top can be paired with these ‘Bermudas’ with pockets at a very reasonable £14 from United Colours of Benetton.

Sandals

Last but not least, we’ve chosen these navy leather ‘Jack’ sandals to help complete the look for your little prince.
