Family Friendly Summer Holiday Guide

With our sandals flying off the (virtual) shelves here at Babyshoes HQ, people are clearly feeling the summer vibes and making preparations to jet off to sunnier climates.

With that in mind we thought we would give you a round up of the most family friendly destinations across the globe:

Majorca, Spain
With a flight time of just over 2 hours from most destinations within the UK, this family hotspot reduces the stresses associated with long haul flights with children. Majorca is the home of all inclusive with family friendly resorts in Palma Nova, Santa Ponsa, Cala D’Or and many more.

The temperatures do get pretty high in July/August so it would be advisable to head out a bit earlier (May or June) when the weather will be more comfortable for the kids.

Paris, France
Accessible by car, plane or train with varying travel times, Paris seems to be the destination of choice for a lot of UK families. Although the weather can be as unpredictable as here in the UK, there is no shortage of things to do in the capital. Paris is a very child-friendly city with the main attractions concentrated to a small geographical area. Did we mention that there is also a Disneyland based in the eastern regions of the city? THERE’S A DISNEYLAND RESORT IN PARIS

Crete, Greece
Fantastic beaches and countryside retreats with great activities and amenities for the kids, this Greek Island is a fantastic choice for a lovely family holiday. Crete has a perfect blend of parental pampering in a stunning setting accompanied by a variety of child friendly activities.

Potters Resort, Norfolk
If you want to avoid the hassle of flying with a little one, why not stick to a UK resort. Potters Resort set in the beautiful coastline border of Norfolk and Suffolk offers a whole host of activities for children ranging from kid’s clubs to sports activities.
